Hare Jordan

This pair was called Hare Jordan because of Bugs Bunny being in the commercial with Mike. I loved the commercial with Bugs and Mike teaming up. I thought it was a fresh new idea for an ad. They're going to be released on July as part of the 16/7 pack. Personally, I like the colors and I think these are too sweet to pass up. Pics thanks to www.nicekicks.com

Topman's Latest Tees

OMG!!! I love these!! I'm getting them one tee at a time!!! It's about time I get some new tees. Ghostbusters, Batman and the Sesame Street characters are an added novelty because I grew up watching these shows. Ah yes. Nothing better than sweet nostalgia printed on t-shirts. Whooo

My Hong Kong New Year

I was feeling beat up. Tired. Lonely from all the school work. The anticipation. The drama in my life. I needed to recharge. Getaway from it all. Experience something new for a change.
2007 started off on the wrong side for me. Then everything went downhill. Thanks to my gf who completely ruined everything for me. But all was not lost. Redemption came 6 months later. Then the ultimate vacation came. December 27,2007 I left the country for a one week vacation in my beloved Hong Kong.
Everything was great. The shopping. The food. The bonding moments. The family gatherings. The pictures.
I came back to the Philippines feeling recharged and more eager to leave the Philippines again. This time for good. Well it's been 4 months and I'm still here. I won't be leaving anytime soon. Bummer. That's gotta hurt. But I'm still crossing my fingers for August 2008.
Hong Kong food is the best!!!

Jordan 13

The Jordan 13 was released during the 1997-1998 season; prior to Jordan's second retirement. The design takes its inspiration from the black cat. Tinker Hatfield saw how Mike moved like a predatory cat and he came up with these. The outsole with pads like a paw and circles representing whiskers.
Mike was wearing these sneakers when he hit the legendary game winner in Game 6 of the Bulls' second threepeat in Utah. It was picture perfect.
These were special to me because these were the first pair of Jordans I ever wore. My dad bought them for me and my brother in Hong Kong. I still remember when he took it out of the box and we just lost it. It was better than Christmas morning. We had the black/red colorway. I also loved the hologram at the ankle of the shoe. It just makes everything works. The velvet thing used was also beautiful. I loved the way it performed on the court too. It was lightweight and had good cushioning. It is said to be Mike's favorite among all Jordans along with the 11s. It was probably the first sophisticated shoe I wore.

These were retroed early this year as part of the countdown package along with the Jordan 10. The color was the original black/white that I used to want instead of the red/black that I got.

A retro version was released last year in white/wheat colorway. I loved it and hoped to grab a pair but it wasn't in my budget and I waited too long before thinking about grabbing them. Now their all gone=(

I Miss Las Vegas!!!

When I went to Vegas back in 2006, I was 20 years old and not allowed to even play the machines. But I enjoyed it throughly though. I loved the lights of the heart of Nevada. I love the different themes and motifs of the hotels. The experience was one I will cherish forever. Walking along the famed Vegas Strip several times back and forth, visiting the hotels that I only read about in various travel journals and articles. We stayed at the Tropicana, which wasn't bad at all. It was along the strip and it made everything accessible. The room was nice. With the bathtub and all. It's such a shame I have no one to share it with. It's sad really. All my life I want to experience cherishing trips abroad with that special someone but I just can't get a hold of her.
Well anyway, things I loved across Vegas were the huge Coca-Cola store, the humongous adidas store, Panda Express, the beautiful women and of course the hotels and casinos.
It would be a perfect vacation if I just went there and hooked up with beautiful girls all around. But I ain't THAT lucky. I should be glad I even got to Vegas. I wanna live there or anywhere in the USA for that matter.
Well that's it. My trip to the beautiful Sin City.
This is where we stayed: Tropicana Hotel and Casino

LeBron IV China Edition

To me this is probably one of the best LeBrons ever! I love the China colorway because the red just pops and gives the shoe a sense of sophistication. China is something close to my heart because of my Chinese heritage and given the fact that I really want to move to Hong Kong by 2010 or before. Grabbing a pair of these would be hard given that it is a limited release only in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and only 4500 pairs were made. (Although I saw these here at Gloreitta and remarked how bad-ass they looked...) These were released late 2006. Pics from www.nicekicks.com

Air Jordan 1 Opening Day Pack

The Air Jordan 1 Opening Day pack was released on March 29th and I think it looks fantastic. To some of you who don't remember, Mike loved baseball so much that he retired back in 93 to play for the Chicago White Sox's farm team - Birmingham Barons. Although his baseball career was short-lived and he wasn't any good, he always looked good. I love the stripes across the whole shoe and the baseball stitching that puts the whole thing together. They come in black and white. The whole design is based on the home and away colors of the Chicago White Sox. They I'm trying to grab a pair but sadly it's not available in Manila. I'm asking my good buddy Carl to grab me a pair. They go for a hundred bucks. But I think they're so worth it. I got these pics from www.nicekicks.com

I Left my Heart in San Francisco

I've been to San Francisco twice in my life and I still vividly remember how good my last stay there was. Upon entering the Golden Gate Bridge, I was awestruck. I loved the city because of the cool air and the refreshing scenery. It was beautiful. I fell in love with the Bay Area. If I was given the chance to live there, I'd take it in a heartbeat.
I remember arriving at Pier 39 or 41, I forgot which was it. But I enjoyed the view, the feeling of being in a harbor. I can still remember the fresh clam chowder and the salmon burger I ate. In fact, the clam chowder was so good, I had two!
The only thing missing was having a girl to share those moments with. But I'm promising myself the next time I go there, it wouldn't be with my family. It would be with that special someone who I can take lots of photos with.

Jordan 8 Aqua

The Jordan 8 Aquas are cool because of the colorway. I love the blue, violet and aquamarine color near the sole. I also love the fluffy Jumpman logo on the tongue. It's the first thing that attracted me to the shoe. These were released in 1992 I think. Which makes it impossible for me to score a pair since I was 6 years old and I didn't know anything about Jordans or basketball. These are good as collectibles and I'd bet it would look nice on my feet when I play in them. I saw one at Libis for Php4200 and I'm seriously thinking of getting them. I think these are awesome. To top it off, Bobby Fresh created a tee that matches these Aquas with a comic book Aquaman concept. They are pretty cool. See for yourself:
