I Miss Hong Kong

Oh man! I can't take this anymore. I want to fast forward to the day that I leave the Philippines for something better, brighter and overall just anti-Manila, Hong Kong. It is my one of the best cities in the whole world. I can't wait any longer. I am just to fucking anxious to leave the Philippines and never come back. I'll be damned if I ever come back. Seeing all the pictures of Hong Kong on the internet gives me butterflies in my stomach. I always imagine myself in the city. Living there. Not worrying it would all end in a week or in a day like it always does when I go to Hong Kong as a tourist.
I miss the smell, the sites, the people, the small things that make the city. I miss layering during the winter and having 4 seasons in a year. I miss the MTR, the tram, the comfortable buses and the non-stop walking. I miss hearing the timer on the stop lights, the Chinese neon lights, the mountains in the background, the beautiful view of the Hong Kong harbor and the fusion of British elegance with Chinese ingenuity that is evident throughout the city.
I miss MongKok, Causeway Bay, Tai Koo Shing, Fortress Hill, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui and the different MTR stations I've been in. I love that I can buy different types of international beer at Wellcome or Park n Shop. I love the noodles I eat everyday, the naicha that I drink every meal and the dai pai dong that I eat at where I share seats with strangers. I miss the hurried lifestyle of the city.
All in all, I love Hong Kong more than anywhere in the world, but Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai in the Far East or Vancouver, LA, Vegas, New York, London in the west aren't too bad either right? Just get me outta here!!! Remove my Philippine citizenship!
